Take-chan | たけちゃんにぼしらーめん 調布店
Style: Shoyu w/ Chicken & Niboshi
Bowl to Crush: Special Ramen | スペシャルらーめん
A few years back, Take-chan relocated to suburban Chofu from its popular prior installation in Yoyogi. The eating experience hasn't slipped a bit. This bowl is niboshi shoyu ramen at its finest – a complex clear soup that you'll drink to the last drop. The niboshi taste is rich but smooth, without any of the bitter bite or fishiness you get at some lesser niboshi shops. The chashu and egg are both excellent, as are the chewy noodles. Everything is top quality. No MSG.
This is one of the best bowls in the Chofu area – a meal you can crush nearly every day. The shop's founder and O.G. master, Yoichi Sakamoto, passed away in 2013 (he was a friend – RIP). It's now owned and operated by his son, Taketo Sakamoto.
